This alert is part of the on-going effort to keep you informed of events related to safety on
SJUSD school campuses.

Type Incident Suspicious Activity
Synopsis of Incident
An 11-year old male Barrett student reported he was followed by a man on his
way home from school yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at
approximately 3:08 P.M. The student noticed the man in his vehicle
on Barrett Road, where he began following him. The student continued
walking on Lincoln Avenue toward Miles Road. When the student crossed the
street and began running, the man left. Incident is awaiting follow up by law
enforcement.
Suspect Information:
Caucasian male adult in his 50’s, approximately 5’8” with gray hair and a dog
in the back of his vehicle.
Suspect Vehicle: Black truck with scratches on it.

Schools Office immediately at (916) 971-7911, Monday thru Friday 7:30am-3:30pm.
After 3:30pm you may contact the SJUSD Security Dispatcher at (916) 971-7000.
