What are Speed Bumps?
Speed bumps are 12 foot wide by 3 inch high asphalt undulations which are usually placed across roadways between intersections.  They are requested by residents as a means to slow down traffic in residential neighborhoods. 
Benefits
Speed Bumps may:

Drawbacks

  • Present a potential hazard to bicyclists and motorcyclists.
