Hello Neighbors!  A reminder that the next Community Sheriff’s Meeting is Tuesday March 19, 2013 at 6:00pm in the Del Campo High School Library.  If you can make it, I highly suggest you stop by.  Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it due to my class schedule, but one of our co-coordinators will be in attendance and will pass along notes of what was discussed.

Also, as you know we recently had another traffic survey done to try and improve our position on the county list for speed control.  It seems that at this time our street’s priority has improved.  This means that we will be on the recommended list for speed control at the public hearing in May.  This year could be the year for us (it has only taken 4 years!).  If you would like to show your support for our speed control efforts, Tracy from DOT suggested we email or call our county representative, Susan Peters.  I did email her asking her for support.  Please feel free to do the same.  Her contact information is susanpeters@saccounty.net or (916) 874-5471.

On a final note, in a Neighborhood Watch effort, I obtained a quote from the county for street lights to be installed on Rampart Dr. (between Ranger and Jan), Minton Ct., and Cameo Ct.  Before I put together a presentation of our options, I would like to know how many of you think you would be in favor of street lights or feel that better lighting is a top priority for our street/courts.  If I can please get a quick email from ALL PARTICIPANTS letting me know your thoughts, I would really appreciate it.  Your input is extremely important because if we do go forward with this, you will be affected.

I hope everyone is enjoying this spring weather!  J

Thanks,
Tiffany Manuel
