Sheriff's Neighborhood Quarterly Community Meetings
Sherrie Carhart from Sacramento County Sheriff's Department
What is POP? Community Policing is called Problem Oriented Policing, or POP. Crime Prevention works with POP in educating the public about preventing the crime, reporting, awareness of suspicious activities and persons and hardening the target. Our POP Team handles quality of life issues as well as picking up all the other areas that patrol deputies don’t regularly get to do.
At the quarterly community meetings, residents provide information to POP about their immediate law enforcement concerns and issues. POP Deputies investigate those problem locations and work to provide relief and solutions to residents. Deputies also relay information about the community and provide answers to your questions.
Please mark these dates and times on your calendar and we encourage you to attend and participate.
